Another big night...this is becoming a habit.

Darianne and Colin came down from Kalgoorlie so Nat and Steve and Rhonnda came up and had tea with them at our house. A great night, a little bit quieter because Jennie wasn't here, but a lot of fun nevertheless. I think we ended up drinking about 7 bottles of wine between the four of us that were drinking but we all pulled up well this morning. We ended up calling it a night at 1.30a.m and then I was up and picking the kids up from Midland at 9.00a.m.
Rhonnda left her dishes here so came up for coffee and to collect them this morning. She bought her grandson Michael with her and we went down to Roley Pools for a bush walk. We were all very excited to find some really big yabbies in the water there.
This evening Caitlyn and I created a new game where we take it in turns to sit on a skate board with a rope under our arms, the other person holds both ends of the ropes and controls the speed as we roll down the hill. We live on a HUGE hill so it was quite scary but lots of fun. We started on the less steep side of the hill and then got very brave and went down the steep side. Dylan, decided to join in, and of course didn't need the rope to skate down the hill, after a few minor heart failures I called an end to that and came inside to help David with tea. He had cooked a fabulous roast chicken but was stroppy because his cheese sauce was lumpy. We ate out on the balcony, a perfect end to a lovely day. Michael came out and joined us and we had an interesting conversation about the pros and cons of vegetarianism.
Take care,
Chris.
