I can't believe the holidays are half way through already, time is flying far too fast. But on a positive note how perfect is this weather? You really couldn't ask for better holiday weather and we have been really making the most of it.
On Thursday we took mum out and played botanical golf which was wonderful. It was a great day because David won so we didn't have him sulking all afternoon because I beat him again. After we played Dave and the girls had the biggest pieces of chocolate cake you've ever seen, I resisted but ended up finishing them when they couldn't eat them all anyway - so it was a good thought that didn't end up quite so good.
How hard is losing weight? Every time I step on the scales I'm scared and they aren't letting me down - those numbers are getting bigger and bigger. I'd set myself a goal to get down to 65kg's by my birthday, which is three weeks from today - unless I stop eating now and don't eat again until after my birthday that's not going to happen.
Robyn and Tim, friends from David's work, came up last night and we went to the Elizabethan Pub for tea. A great night, lots of laughter etc... We all had WAY to much to eat. I had bruschetta which was so good but was actually made from bread soaked in oil so that it was actually dripping fat, topped with slices of feta and sundried tomato. Then I had fisherman's basket which was good but very fatty. The worst of it was we are all trying to be healthy and lose weight and didn't think the food was worth it to break the diet.
Oh well!!
Take care,
Chris.
